南印度文化采風攝影深度16天
1：當天指定時間集中，乘機前往印度印度第一大城市－孟買。
2：孟買一天
早餐後遊覽孟買，參觀海上清真寺，位於孟買灣的印度門(GATEWAY OF INDIA)。乘船前往位於孟買東方海上10公里的迷人小島--大象島石窟。以印度教1500年前古老的石窟寺廟而聞名，特別是以第一窟中的破壞神西瓦最爲著名，之後參觀參觀威爾斯王子博物館、甘地古迹、千人洗衣廠，哈德拉車站。
3：孟買——奧蘭加巴德——阿薑陀
乘機飛往奧蘭加巴德，到達後乘車前往阿薑陀，參觀AJANTA石窟，它是印度最著名的佛教遺迹。阿旃陀壁畫和雕像跨越了1000多年，是對佛教藝術産生深遠影響的傑作，是印度繪畫史上絕無僅有的傑作。
之後前往艾羅拉，下午如有時間可以進入艾羅拉石窟群拍攝。晚住艾羅拉。
4：艾羅拉（ELLOR）
全天艾羅拉石窟。此地爲印度規模最大的石窟寺院群，沿著山崖建造，共有34座，有佛教、印度教及耆那教3種不同建築風格的寺院。我們將儘量早晚進入遺址群拍攝流連，捕捉撼人的瞬間。漫步此地宗教古代文化遺址之後，大可“黃山歸來不看山”。
5：艾羅拉——奧蘭加巴德——孟買
上午返回，市內遊覽：奧蘭卡巴石窟群、道拉塔巴德城堡、比比.卡.瑪巴拉陵（BIBI KA Makbara小泰姬陵)後返回奧蘭加巴德。乘機飛往孟買（或轉機前往科欽）。住：孟買
6：孟買——科欽
乘機飛往科欽，抵達後市區遊覽：猶太人教堂、荷蘭宮、法蘭西教堂，前往海灘拍攝具有科欽特色的中國漁網和落日。住：科欽
7：科欽——阿勒皮（ALLEPY）
後乘車前往阿勒皮, 這個由椰子樹圍繞著寧靜的湖泊城市也是著名的商業城市,然後前往遊覽VEMBANAD 湖，拍攝漁民的網撈情景。乘船前往動物自然保護區。住：船屋
8：阿勒皮——馬杜賴
早餐後乘車前往馬杜賴，沿途領略南印度風光風情。住: 馬杜賴
9：馬杜賴一天
參觀建於16至18世紀間之此地的印度神廟- Meenakshi Sundareshwar參觀密納克西神廟,是印度規模最大的神廟，光塔門就有12 座。參觀後續參觀1000柱廳，實際只有997根柱子，柱上雕刻值得品味。參觀後續參觀印度國父"甘地"紀念館，坐落在已有300年歷史的宮殿內，展出甘地的照片及生平史迹。其內最主要供奉的是濕婆神及其妻子蜜娜克西，正堂號稱千柱廳，雕像超過3300萬尊雕像，令人目不暇給。住: 馬杜賴
10：馬杜賴——坦賈武爾
早餐後，由馬杜賴乘車前往坦賈武爾。參觀坦賈武爾布裏哈迪斯瓦拉神廟（1987年列入世界文化遺産）。住：坦賈武爾
11：坦賈武爾——本地治理
坦賈武爾乘車前往本地治理，沿途參觀印度舞王神廟，印度卡裏女神廟，比哈蒂斯瓦寺廟，印度皇家宮殿。
12：本地治理——馬哈巴裏普讓——金奈
早餐後前往興建於西元7世紀的古都遺址--馬哈巴裏普讓（默哈伯利布勒姆古迹群）。馬哈巴裏普讓以令人驚豔的石雕藝術聞名，優美神奇的作品是雕刻家最推崇之典範，現已列爲世界文化遺産之一。到達金奈 ，市區遊覽，參觀聖湯瑪斯大教堂、瑪麗娜海灘。
13：金奈——班加羅爾——邁索爾
早上乘機飛往班加羅爾，到達後午餐，市內參觀，後乘車前往邁索爾。
14：邁索爾一天
早餐後參觀邁索爾宮殿，曾有一時是沃德亞王朝權力的中心，是印度規模最大的宮殿之一。是印度-撒拉遜（Saracen）樣式的建築物，收藏著由彩色玻璃製成的天花板、用銀雕刻而成的門、剛硬的黃金寶座、名畫收集品等。
15： 邁索爾——班加羅爾——香港
早餐後返回班加加羅爾，途中參觀提普蘇丹宮殿，17世紀由凱達阿裏所建的皇宮，也是阿裏兒子提普蘇丹的夏宮。這個建築物凝聚著人們付出的努力，皇宮用木料建成，高兩層，牆壁和木柱均刻有色彩絢麗的壁畫和精致的雕刻；前往機場，乘晚機返香港。

Drive past the Afghan Church -Maharashtra Government buildings, Coolaba market – drive past to Queens Neckless - . and also visit Mani Bhawan (Photography not allowed) where Mahatma Gandhi stayed during his visits to Mumbai Stop at the 'Dhobi Ghat' where Mumbai's 'dirties' are scrubbed, bashed, dyed and hung out to dry (photography possibly from the bridge cant go inside).Watch the local train passing close by on which the city commuters 'hang out like laundry' - a nice photography
Day 2 MUMBAI-AURANGABAD
After breakfast transfer to Mumbai airport to board flight for Aurangabad
Met upon arrival at Aurangabad airport later assisted transfer to your hotel
Drive to Ajanta
Arrive Ajanta
Later proceed with full day excursion to Ajanta caves (106 Kms/ 02 Hrs. one way) - north-east of Aurangabad, date from around 200 BC to 650 AD. As Ellora developed and Buddhism gradually declined, the Ajanta Caves were abandoned and gradually forgotten. But in 1819 a Britishhunting party stumbled upon them, and their remote beauty was soon unveiled. Their isolation contributed to the fine stateof preservation in which some of their remarkable paintings remain to this day. Ajanta is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO
Day 3 AURANGABAD

reach Ellora
Proceed with visit to Ellora excursion to Ellora, (29 Kms/01 hours) which encompass 34 rock-cut shrines representing Buddhist, Hindu and Jain art dating from the 4th to 9th century AD. The most remarkable among them is the Kailash Temple, meant to be a replica of Lord Shivas celestial abode, Kailash. It is the best example of rock-cut architecture and the engineering skills of the times. Closed on Tuesdays ( 1600 Hrs.)
Drive to Daulatabad Fort
Reach Daulatabad Fort
Visit Daulatabad Fort built by Mohammed Tughlauk in the 14th century as he tried to shift his capital from Delhi, along with its population. His project ended in disaster but the Fort remained. The Fort has many gun bastion and huge palaces. (1200 Hrs.)
drive to Bibi ka Maqbura
reach Bibi ka Maqbara and visit

Day 4 AURANGABAD-MUMBAI & Mumbai – Cochin by air
Morning transfer to Mumbai airport to board flight for Cochin,
Met Upon arrival at Cochin airport later assisted to restaurant for Lunch after Lunch
Afternoon proceed with half day tour of Cochin, Visiting tour of the satellite towns of Kochi (Cochin) and Ernakulam. Visit the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue - (which remains closed on Saturdays so only drive past) St. Francis Church and the Santa Cruz Basilica. While driving along the coastline, at the Harbor’s mouth, one can also view the unique and still-in-use "Chinese Fishing Nets" which were introduced by the Chinese traders in the 14th Century. The tour ends in the Fort Kochi area where you can walk through the historical Dutch and Portuguese buildings. Some parts of this nearly 500-year-old Fort are still amazingly well preserved.
Day 5 COCHIN-ALLEPEY BY SURFACE
After early breakfast proceed with visit to Chinese fishing net
Later depart by surface for Alleppey
Upon arrival in board Houseboat, located on the shores of the enchanting Vembanad Lake
The boat cruises and you have a close look into an engaging rustic life.

As we travel through the backwaters we pass through rural settlements sited on narrow strips of land between waterways. The backwaters are a hive of activity with village life all along the banks, boat men taking goods and materials from one village to the next, children swimming, women washing clothes, and fishermen in traditional wooden boats. Meals and overnight at house Boat on Lake Vembanad.
Day 6 ALLEPEY-PERIYAR BY SURFACE
After breakfast depart by surface to periyar, upon arrival check in at Hotel.
After lunch proceed with visit to animal reserve with boat ride
Day 7 PERIYAR-MADURAI BY SURFACE
After breakfast depart by surface to Madurai, upon arrival check in at hotel
Afternoon proceed with city tour of Madurai visiting Great Meenaskhi Temple Dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva with its towersing Gopurams, rising high above the surrounding township. Later visit the Tirumala Nayak Palace - a gracious biulding in the Indo-Saracenic style, famous for the stucco wrok on uts domes and arches.
Evening also visit the aarti (Prayer) ceremony at temple
Day 8 MADURAI-TRICHY-THANJAVUR BY SURFACE
After breakfast depart by surface to Thanjavur enroute visiting the Trichy, visiting the ancient temples dedicated to Lord Ganapathi, 434 steps cut out into the rock side and interspersed with shrines, lead to the temple, yet another flight leads to the temple of Lord Shiva. The ascent is climaxed by magnificent view of the sacred Kaveri River.
Upon arrival visit the Brihadeshwara Temple.
Day 9 THANJAVUR-KUMBAKONAM-PONDICHERRY BY SURFACE
After breakfast half day tour of Thanjavur the beautiful Chola temple of Brihadishwara. The temple is capped by a monolithic cupola made of a single granite block weighing 80 tons which was taken to the top with the help of a 6 Km long ramp, an old technique used by the Egyptians for building pyramids. Its bronze and handicrafts make Thanjavur one of the highlights of a visit to South India.
Later drive to Pondicherrry enroute visiting the Kumbakonam, is noted for its innumerable temples with their colourful semi-erotic sculptures. Sarangapani Temple is the largest Vishnu temple and Kumbeshwara is the largest Shiva temple there. 35 Kms north of Kumbakonam, Gangakondacholapuram was built by one of the Chola emperors in the early 11th century in the style of the Brihadishwara Temple at Thanjavur (Tanjore). The ornate tower is about 55 mts high. Close to the temple there is a museum exhibiting the remains of a palace that once stood nearby.

Day 10 PONDICHERRY-MAHABALIPURAM BY SURFACE
After breakfast proceed with half day city tour of Pondicherry which traces its origin to Saint Gasthya, the revered sage of the South. Excavations near Pondicherry reveal that a Roman settlement existed here 2000 years ago. It was also the theatre of many a battles between the British and the French and was the capital of French India before it attained its independence.
Later drive to Mahabalipuram Located around 60 Km from Chennai, Mamallapuram occupies a stunning position ona rocky outcrop between the beach and a lagoon. Built by the pallava rulers in the seventh century the complex comprises of 14 cave-temples, nine monolithic "Rathas", three stone temples and two relief sculptured rock panels. These two rock-panels give a graphic description of Arjuna's penance when he prayed for the powers of Shiva and form the largest Bass Relief in the world. Particularly of interest is the shore temple built on the water's edge with an east-facing altar designed to catch the rising Sub, this has now been declared a World Heritage Site.
Day 11 CHENNAI-BANGALORE
After breakfast depart by surface of Chennai visiting the Dakshin Chitra, Government Museum and Art Gallery, to see the art and bronze gallery, (closed on Fridays and public holidays) and also a visit to the famous 16th century Kapaleeshwarar temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, sacred to Tamil Shivaties. Non-Hindus are only allowed upto the outer courtyard. Drive past Fort St. George, Marina Beach and San Thome Cathedral.
Afternoon transfer to airport to board flight for Bangalore, Met Upon arrival at Bangalore airport later assisted transfer to your hotel.
Day 12 BANGALORE-MYSORE BY SURFACE
After breakfast departs by surface to Mysore enroute visiting the Srirangapatnam fort; 16 Kms short of Mysore. The Fort
and the palaces were destroyed when the British defeated Tipu Sultan but the ramparts and other structures and temples still stand.

Day 13 MYSORE
After breakfast proceeds with full day tour of Mysore visit the palace of the Maharaja built in 1911-12. Also see the Art Gallery, drive up to Chamundi hill to see Chamundeshwari Temple and have a panoramic view of Mysore from the top of the hill. On the way down see the Nandi Bull, one of the largest in India.
Day 14 MYSORE-BANGALORE BY DRIVE & BANGALORE DEPARTURE
After breakfast depart by surface to Bangalore Upon arrival proceed with half day tour of Bangalore city visiting the the Lal Bagh which has a variety of old trees, fountains, lotus pools, terraces and an assortment of tropical and subtropical herbs. Also see the Maharaja's Palace and Government Buildings.
